As we all know, high school students are typically under 21 years old and therefore cannot legally drink in the United States. However, in other countries, the legal drinking age is lower. For instance, in the UK, it’s 18, but bringing alcohol to school events where minors are present is still prohibited.
Nonetheless, some students still try to bend the rules and find ways to sneak in some drinks while they enjoy the night.
Prom chaperones are usually well-prepared to keep things in check and to notice any drinking and stop it. However, sometimes students come up with clever methods to sneak in drinks anyway.
This photo is a perfect example of the fun things students do! A senior at prom, who is seen in the picture, cleverly disguised a large flask. How did she do it? She simply took a big silver flask and made it look like it was her clutch bag!
At first glance, it seems like she’s just carrying a stylish silver clutch, but if you look closely, you’ll see it’s something different!
British student Eleanor Clarke wasn’t going to let any laws or rules ruin her fun with friends. She donned a stunning gown and carried what looked like a metallic clutch bag. But it turned out that the clutch was actually a big flask. Instead of a regular bag for her belongings, she opted for something she could easily fill with liquid!

Eleanor didn’t say if she filled the clutch with alcohol, and she was quite surprised that she managed to pull it off. “Still don’t know how I got away with a huge hip flask as my prom clutch,” she posted on X, which used to be Twitter.
She reportedly bought the flask from Tiger for $12. She cleverly hid it in plain sight, so no one had a clue until she revealed her trick!
